United Airlines is expanding its Japan service by introducing daily nonstop flights between Chicago O'Hare and Tokyo-Narita starting October 24, and seasonal thrice-weekly flights from San Francisco to Sapporo from December 11 through March. These routes mark United as the only U.S. carrier offering nonstop service between Chicago and Tokyo-Narita and the first nonstop service from the continental U.S. to Sapporo. The expansion enhances United's position as the leading U.S. airline to Japan, offering up to 13 daily flights to four Japanese airports and connecting travelers to over 21 destinations across Asia-Pacific. This move provides more travel options for both leisure and business travelers and strengthens United's Pacific network.
