Transocean Ltd. announced new contract awards totaling approximately $185 million for two of its harsh environment semisubmersible rigs. The Transocean Norge secured a five-well contract with Harbour Energy in Norway, expected to start in early 2028 and contribute about $149 million to backlog. Meanwhile, the Transocean Equinox won a two-well contract with Santos in Australia, starting in mid-2027 and adding around $36 million to backlog. These contracts strengthen Transocean's position in offshore drilling for challenging environments and provide revenue visibility for the coming years.
