Toncoin will reduce its transaction fees by six times to a fixed rate of about $0.0005 per transaction, regardless of network load, as part of the MTONGA roadmap. This follows a recent upgrade that made the network 10 times faster with near-instant finality. The fee cut aims to enable practical micro-transactions and compete with traditional payment platforms by making most transactions feeless soon. Toncoin's integration with Telegram's 950 million users could drive widespread adoption, although the price has yet to react strongly to these improvements.
