Terra Innovatum Global N.V. announced an initiative to enhance the electrical output and efficiency of its SOLO™ Micro Modular Reactor by about 25%, targeting an increase from ~1 MWe to ~1.25 MWe per reactor. This improvement is driven by integrating advanced power conversion and supercritical CO2 turbomachinery technology from Baker Hughes, which may reduce the number of reactors needed for multi-megawatt installations. The initiative supports flexible scaling for various market applications and accelerates Terra Innovatum's path toward commercial deployment of its compact, scalable nuclear energy solutions. SOLO™ reactors aim to provide clean, safe, and cost-effective power for industrial, off-grid, and distributed energy markets globally within the next three years.
