It could supply up to 25% of U.S. copper needs, supporting energy security amid rising demand from AI, electric vehicles, and renewables. The project promises significant economic benefits, including $1 billion annually to Arizona's economy and 3,700 jobs, while addressing environmental and cultural concerns through extensive tribal consultations and land conservation.
