JPMorgan analysts project that Strategy, formerly MicroStrategy, could purchase about $30 billion worth of Bitcoin in 2026 if it maintains its current buying pace. The company has already acquired 145,834 BTC this year, valued at around $11 billion, increasing its total holdings to 818,334 BTC worth over $65 billion. Strategy uses multiple financing methods, including stock and debt, to fund Bitcoin purchases and has introduced a preferred stock product called STRC to support accumulation. While this model has attracted investor interest and may improve capital efficiency, some critics warn of risks if Bitcoin prices fall or dividend obligations rise.
