Standard Lithium signs major offtake deal and hits key milestones, aiming to start SWA Project construction in 2026

Standard Lithium reported strong Q1 2026 results, signing its first binding lithium offtake agreement with Trafigura for 8,000 tonnes annually over 10 years. The company reached operational milestones at its Arkansas Demonstration Plant, processing 1 million barrels of brine and completing 15,000 lithium extraction cycles safely. These achievements support its plan to finalize investment decisions and begin construction of the South West Arkansas Project in 2026, targeting commercial production by 2029. Standard Lithium also strengthened its federal advisory team to enhance U.S. domestic lithium supply chain efforts.
