SS Innovations International successfully performed a long-distance telesurgery spanning over 4,500 miles from Perth, Australia to Indore, India using its SSi Mantra surgical robotic system and the portable SSi MantrAsana tele-surgeon console. The procedure, a robotic gastrojejunostomy, was conducted by Dr. Mohit Bhandari during the Royal Australian College of Surgeons Annual Scientific Congress. This milestone showcases the potential of telesurgery to expand access to expert surgical care globally by enabling remote operations with real-time precision and low latency.
