Spotify launches Reserved to hold concert tickets for superfans before public sale

Spotify has introduced "Reserved by Spotify," a new feature that holds two concert tickets for top fans before general sales begin. Initially available in the U.S. for Premium subscribers aged 18 and over, the system uses user engagement signals to identify superfans and prevent scalping. Role Model is the first artist to use this feature, with tickets held for fans ahead of public sales starting June 23. Spotify plans to expand the program to more artists, venues, and international users, aiming to boost paid subscriptions and app engagement.
