Sony Electronics has introduced the Alpha 7R VI, a full-frame mirrorless camera featuring a 66.8-megapixel back-illuminated sensor and the new BIONZ XR2 engine, delivering high resolution, fast continuous shooting up to 30 fps, and advanced autofocus with AI-based human pose tracking. The camera supports professional video recording including 8K 30p and 4K 120p without crop, enhanced image stabilization, and improved battery life. Sony also released the XLR-A4 adaptor for high-quality 32-bit float audio recording, targeting professional content creators. The Alpha 7R VI and accessories will be available starting June 2026, priced at $4,499.99 for the camera and $779.99 for the adaptor.
