Thirty-two high school seniors have accepted job offers from HII's Newport News Shipbuilding division to start full-time trade positions or attend the company's Apprentice School. This initiative is part of the Good Life Solution Program, which partners with local employers to recruit and train new talent directly from high school. Additionally, 18 students from a pre-apprenticeship program also committed to attending the Apprentice School. These efforts aim to build a skilled workforce contributing to national security and the future of shipbuilding at HII.
