Health tech startup Signos secured $20 million in funding led by Google Ventures, Dexcom, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama to advance its AI-powered glucose monitoring system aimed at healthy weight loss. The system, cleared by the FDA in 2025, uses Dexcom's continuous glucose monitor to provide personalized lifestyle guidance based on real-time glucose data. Signos also expanded its partnership with Dexcom to offer subscription plans through Dexcom's direct-to-consumer platform. This move positions Signos to capitalize on the growing GLP-1 weight loss market, with plans to enhance AI features like meal scoring to help users manage glucose spikes and build sustainable habits.
