SBM Offshore wins FEED contracts for Longtail FPSO project in Guyana with ExxonMobil.

SBM Offshore has been awarded Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) contracts by ExxonMobil Guyana for the Longtail development project. The contract initiates FEED activities and allocates a Fast4Ward hull for the Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessel (FPSO). The FPSO will process 1.2 billion cubic feet of gas per day and produce 250,000 barrels of condensate daily, marking the highest gas handling capacity on an FPSO. Construction and operation depend on government and ExxonMobil approvals, with SBM Offshore expected to operate the FPSO using its integrated model and local Guyanese resources.
