Saputo sells 80% stake in Argentina dairy division for $543M, retains 20% ownership.

Saputo Inc. has completed the sale of an 80% interest in its Argentina Dairy Division to Gloria Foods for approximately $543 million. Saputo retains a 20% stake and will continue to have the Argentina platform manufacture select products for its international portfolio. This divestiture allows Saputo to focus on other markets while maintaining a presence in Argentina through its minority ownership.
