Rocket Lab has finalized its acquisition of Mynaric AG for $155.3 million, including cash and stock, enhancing its space systems portfolio with advanced laser optical communication technology. This move addresses a key supply chain challenge by enabling high-volume, cost-effective satellite laser communications for commercial and government customers globally. Mynaric will remain based in Munich, marking Rocket Lab's first European presence and expanding support for European space programs.
