Quince Therapeutics announced positive Phase 2a results for LAM-001, an inhaled rapamycin formulation, in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD). The 24-week study showed significant improvements in lung function, exercise capacity (6MWD increased by 67.4 meters), and pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR reduced by 33.9%) among PH-ILD patients. All evaluable patients improved their functional class, and LAM-001 was well tolerated alongside standard care. A Phase 2b trial is planned for mid-2026 with results expected in early 2028, highlighting potential new treatment options for these serious lung conditions.
