ProPetro's PROPWR to acquire up to 2.1 GW power capacity from Caterpillar by 2031

ProPetro's PROPWR unit has signed a strategic agreement with Caterpillar to purchase up to 2.1 gigawatts of power generation assets by 2031, supporting growing energy needs in data centers, oil and gas, and industrial sectors. This deal builds on their existing collaboration and aims to enhance reliability and operational excellence with efficient power solutions. Including previous orders, PROPWR will have about 2.6 GW of power capacity by the end of 2031, fully deployed in 2032. This partnership strengthens PROPWR's growth and Caterpillar's commitment to scalable, reliable power technologies.
