TXU Energy donates $150K to help Texans stay cool with fans, AC units, and bill aid this summer

TXU Energy is donating $150,000 through its Beat the Heat program to help Texans manage rising summer temperatures. The initiative includes distributing over 5,000 box fans and 600 window air conditioning units to those in need, especially seniors and vulnerable households. More than 30 community events will be held across Texas to distribute these resources, alongside bill-payment assistance to prevent disconnections. This effort supports Texans in staying safe and cool during extreme heat, continuing a 25-year tradition of community aid by TXU Energy.
