Pratt & Whitney's GTF Advantage engine has been certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for the Airbus A320neo family, following U.S. FAA certification. This engine offers 4-8% more takeoff thrust, longer range, and up to double the time on wing, enhancing aircraft capability and value for operators. The GTF Advantage will become the production standard by 2028, with an upgrade option available for current engines. Pratt & Whitney is expanding production capacity to meet strong demand, with over 13,000 engine orders and commitments to date.
