Tigerair Taiwan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Pratt & Whitney to equip 15 Airbus A321neo aircraft with GTF engines, including four firm and 11 leased planes. Pratt & Whitney will also provide a 12-year EngineWise maintenance service agreement, ensuring cost predictability and efficiency. Deliveries are expected to start in 2028, supporting Tigerair Taiwan's fleet expansion with engines that offer 20% lower fuel consumption and reduced noise. This deal strengthens the decade-long partnership between the two companies and supports Tigerair Taiwan's growth in the Asian low-cost carrier market.
