BlackRock's crypto portfolio value declined by $13.83 billion in the first five months of 2026, falling from $78.36 billion to about $64.53 billion, a 17.65% drop year-to-date. The decrease is mainly due to a bear market and Ethereum sales, with Bitcoin holdings rising slightly but losing value due to price drops. Bitcoin's price fell from $90,872 to around $72,616, while Ethereum's price dropped from $3,118 to about $1,980. BlackRock's Ethereum holdings also decreased by 462,210 units, contributing to the portfolio's overall decline.
