Pool Corporation names John B. Watwood as new CEO, Peter Arvan steps down.

Pool Corporation announced a leadership change with John B. Watwood appointed as President and CEO, effective May 4, 2026, replacing Peter D. Arvan who is stepping down from his roles as President, CEO, and Director. John E. Stokely, Chair of the Board, becomes Executive Chair to support the transition. Watwood brings over 20 years of experience in industrial distribution and joined PoolCorp as Executive VP earlier in 2026. The company remains confident in its strategic direction and expects 2026 results to meet prior guidance, while postponing its Investor Day to a later date.
