Polygon CDK has introduced a new validium privacy configuration that keeps raw transaction data within institution-owned infrastructure while settling only cryptographic proofs on Ethereum. This setup, powered by Succinct Labs' SP1 Hypercube, targets banks, payment firms, and asset managers moving onchain, ensuring transaction confidentiality without exposing data to public networks. It offers five composable privacy levels, allowing institutions to scale privacy without migrating configurations, and maintains access to Ethereum and multi-chain liquidity through Agglayer.
