Plume’s Bermuda subsidiary has secured a Class M Digital Asset Business Licence from the Bermuda Monetary Authority, becoming the first regulated onchain vault manager under Bermuda's digital asset laws. This license allows Plume to create and distribute tokenized vault products, such as Treasury-backed yield vaults, under strict AML and KYC standards. Partnering with Centrifuge and using Anemoy’s regulated Liquid Treasury Fund, Plume aims to provide low-risk, AAA-rated yield products to institutional investors who require regulated exposure. This move positions Plume uniquely in the real-world asset blockchain space, enabling trusted access to DeFi-like products through formal regulatory channels.
