A Freshworks report surveyed over 9,000 mid-market IT leaders and found that 25% of AI budgets are wasted on managing complexity before any real business returns. This complexity causes delays in AI deployment, with 55% of organizations taking 6-12 months to see meaningful ROI, while executives expect results within 8 months. Additionally, 86% of IT teams report increased workloads due to managing flawed AI outputs and tool sprawl. Mid-market companies are shifting to AI solutions that integrate easily and deliver faster value to overcome these challenges.
