Jared Stanley, co-founder of Charlotte's Web, has stepped down from its Board of Directors to dedicate himself fully as CEO of DeFloria, a clinical-stage botanical pharmaceutical company co-founded by Charlotte's Web. DeFloria is advancing AJA001, an investigational botanical drug for irritability in autism spectrum disorder, through FDA Phase 2 trials. Charlotte's Web remains a shareholder in DeFloria and supports the move as it aligns with growing federal support for cannabinoid drug development. This shift allows Stanley to focus on advancing DeFloria’s clinical mission while maintaining ties to Charlotte's Web's cultivation and regulatory efforts.
