Picacho Peak Dairy Queen Travel Center to close permanently after 40 years on May 31, 2026

The Picacho Peak Dairy Queen Travel Center in Picacho, Arizona, will permanently close on May 31, 2026, after over 40 years of serving the community. The closure follows unsuccessful lease negotiations with the Arizona State Land Department. Bowlin Travel Centers, the operator, thanked customers and staff for their support and plans to introduce a new food offering nearby at Picacho Peak Plaza soon. The final operating hours will be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. until closure.
