Users who minted aUSD₮ using XAU₮ as collateral must repay their debt and redeem their gold-backed tokens by September 17, 2026, after which redemptions will no longer be possible. Those holding aUSD₮ purchased on exchanges cannot redeem directly through Alloy and should trade their tokens on exchanges or DEXs. The shutdown means users must act early to avoid losing access to their collateral and to navigate potential liquidity and gas fee challenges near the deadline.
