Pendle Finance revealed its roadmap for the second half of 2026, focusing heavily on real-world assets (RWAs) and institutional decentralized finance (DeFi). The protocol aims to expand its RWA infrastructure, increase listings, and attract issuers to grow its on-chain yield products. Key milestones include Boros, its rates trading platform, reaching $200 million in open interest and expanding into commodities and equities. Institutional access is improving with the Fireblocks integration and the Citadels initiative, which targets KYC-compliant and Shariah-compliant frameworks, as well as cross-chain expansion beyond Ethereum. Pendle’s growth depends on regulatory clarity and market adoption of tokenized RWAs, with the next quarters critical to proving demand in new asset classes.
