The system instantly converts crypto payments into UAE dirhams, eliminating price volatility risk for the retailer. This service is available to verified UAE residents under a Central Bank license, supporting the government's push for cashless digital transactions. The initiative follows similar crypto payment adoption by Emirates airline and aims to normalize crypto use in everyday retail, with potential expansion to international travelers in the future.
