The American Cancer Society (ACS) updated its colorectal cancer screening guidelines, reaffirming Cologuard and Cologuard Plus as preferred noninvasive screening tests for adults aged 45 and older at average risk. These stool-based tests, used every three years, detect colorectal cancer early and identify precancerous lesions, improving patient outcomes and reducing unnecessary colonoscopies.
