Onex sells Emerald to Apollo Funds for $1.5B, taking it private and delisting from NYSE.

Onex Partners announced the sale of Emerald Holding Inc., a major U.S. B2B event organizer, to Apollo-managed funds for about $1.5 billion. Emerald, of which Onex owns over 90%, will be taken private and delisted from the New York Stock Exchange after the deal closes in the second half of 2026. The sale allows Emerald to pursue growth opportunities under Apollo's ownership, with Onex Partners receiving full liquidity on its investment. Regulatory approvals are pending for the transaction to finalize.
