Olema Oncology announced encouraging initial data from its Phase 1 study of OP-3136, a KAT6 inhibitor, showing good tolerability with no severe toxicities and evidence of tumor shrinkage in multiple solid tumor types. The drug was well-tolerated in 32 heavily pretreated patients, with manageable side effects and no treatment discontinuations. Among 19 evaluable patients, 13 showed tumor reduction, including partial responses in 3 patients. These results support further development of OP-3136 alone and in combination with other therapies for difficult-to-treat cancers, with detailed data to be presented at the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting.
