Oklo and Centrus have signed a Letter of Intent for Centrus to supply high-assay low-enriched uranium (HALEU) to fuel up to five of Oklo's Aurora nuclear powerhouses at a 1.2 GW clean energy campus in southern Ohio, with deliveries starting in 2029. This agreement supports domestic fuel supply and advanced nuclear power deployment, promising multi-billion-dollar private investment and hundreds of jobs in the region. The partnership also involves Kiewit for engineering and construction planning, aiming to establish a new U.S. advanced nuclear energy hub. The deal strengthens fuel certainty amid limited HALEU availability and aligns with broader clean energy goals and economic growth in Ohio.
