NU E Power Corp. has signed a Joint Development Agreement with Mongolian company Tsegtskharaa LLC to develop the Darkhan Energy Park, a 600 MW hybrid power facility combining high-efficiency coal generation with 100 MW of battery storage. The project aims to enhance Mongolia's energy security and supply large industrial and residential users through a USD-based Power Purchase Agreement with the Mongolia Electric Grid. Preliminary studies and permitting processes are underway, with completion expected within three months. The partnership includes local land rights and regulatory support, positioning the project for future growth amid Mongolia's evolving energy market and upcoming UN environmental conference participation.
