Nokia introduced Deepfield Genome Shield, a new security automation system designed to provide proactive, always-on protection against modern, rapid multi-terabit DDoS attacks driven by AI and residential proxy botnets. This system shifts from reactive to proactive defense, using continuously updated threat intelligence and automated enforcement across networks to block botnet command-and-control and suppress attack traffic. It supports various deployment models and is already in use by operators like Red Dot Technologies. Additional features will be released throughout 2026 to enhance network security against evolving AI-driven threats.
