
National Health Investors, Inc. acquired seven senior housing properties in Colorado totaling 532 units for $106.9 million, including transaction costs. These properties will be managed under their Senior Housing Operating Portfolio segment by Generations, LLC, an existing partner. The acquisition is expected to generate an initial net operating income yield of about 8.3%, or 7.8% after routine capital expenditures. NHI plans to invest an additional $3.6 million in these properties within the first year, strengthening its portfolio in senior housing and healthcare real estate.
