
Neurocrine Biosciences has finalized its $2.9 billion acquisition of Soleno Therapeutics, gaining VYKAT™ XR, the first FDA-approved drug for treating hyperphagia in Prader-Willi syndrome patients aged 4 and older. This acquisition strengthens Neurocrine's rare disease portfolio and expands its commercial offerings alongside existing therapies like INGREZZA® and CRENESSITY®. Prader-Willi syndrome is a rare genetic disorder causing severe hunger and behavioral issues, significantly impacting patients' quality of life.
