Neurocrine Biosciences reported that INGREZZA (valbenazine) significantly reduces tardive dyskinesia (TD) symptoms and improves daily functioning in patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Clinician data showed 89% of patients improved within four weeks, with gains in social, emotional, and motor skills. This highlights INGREZZA's potential to enhance quality of life for a vulnerable population often underdiagnosed with TD. The findings were presented at a major medical conference and support ongoing efforts to address TD's broader impacts beyond movement symptoms.
