Nansen is shutting down its Somnia network validator, requiring delegators to unstake or redelegate their SOMI tokens by July 16, 2026. The validator will stop accepting new delegations after this date, and users can manage their tokens via Nansen’s app or Somnia’s dashboard. Since Somnia has a 28-day unbonding period, waiting until the deadline means tokens won’t be liquid until mid-August. Delegators can avoid delays by redelegating to another validator, a common practice in proof-of-stake networks.
