Mobileye to launch robotaxi service in US with 100 cars in 2027, aiming for 17,000 vehicles in 5 years

The company aims to expand this fleet to about 17,000 vehicles over the next five years. This move positions Mobileye in direct competition with some of its current customers who use its Mobileye Drive technology, but the company views this as a complementary market approach to showcase its platform's capabilities. Following the announcement, Mobileye's shares rose by around 6%.
