Microsoft, Google, and Elon Musk's xAI have agreed to give the US government early access to their latest AI models. This allows the Center for AI Standards and Innovation (CAISI) to evaluate the models' capabilities and potential security risks before public release. The move aims to address growing national security concerns related to AI technology. This collaboration builds on previous agreements with OpenAI and Anthropic and supports the Defense Department's efforts to safely integrate AI across classified networks.
