Lindian Resources has achieved a major milestone with independent tests confirming 98% extraction of neodymium-praseodymium (NdPr) and production of a non-radioactive rare earth carbonate at its Kangankunde Rare Earths Project in Malawi. The Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) validated the entire processing flow, ensuring the final product meets safety standards without radioactive concerns, simplifying logistics and regulatory compliance. This validation supports Lindian's transition from developer to producer, with mining already started and plans to implement the process at the SARECO facility in Kazakhstan. The company is advancing construction and targeting first production by late 2026, with further expansion studies underway.
