T-Mobile has extended its T-Satellite service beyond the US to include Canada and New Zealand, allowing customers to connect via satellite when out of cellular range. This expansion is made possible through partnerships with Rogers Satellite in Canada and One NZ Satellite in New Zealand, both using SpaceX's Starlink network. The service supports texting, limited data, and WhatsApp voice calls without special hardware, and is included in certain T-Mobile plans or available as a $10 monthly add-on. This move enhances connectivity in remote areas where traditional cellular networks are limited, with plans to expand coverage further internationally.
