Transocean Ltd. announced new contracts for its offshore drilling rigs, including a 1,095-day contract with Vår Energi in Norway and multiple extensions with Petrobras in Brazil. The company also secured a five-well contract in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. These new deals add approximately $1.6 billion to its backlog, raising the total to about $7.1 billion. This strengthens Transocean's position in the offshore drilling market and supports its fleet utilization for the coming years.
