Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has chosen Odon, Indiana, as the site for its new mid-tier coupled arc jet and laser facility, part of Project Helios. This facility will enhance U.S. hypersonic materials testing capabilities, bridging lab development and operational use to support national defense. The project aims to fill critical gaps in aerothermal testing infrastructure, providing cost-effective, high-throughput evaluation for all U.S. military branches. Completion will strengthen U.S. defense technology and foster local economic growth in Indiana.
