
Ecopetrol's Board of Directors has postponed the unpaid leave of CEO Ricardo Roa Barragán, originally set to start May 28, 2026, due to a 30-day medical leave beginning May 26, 2026. The unpaid leave will now begin on June 27, 2026, after the medical leave and remaining vacation period, lasting 30 days. Meanwhile, Juan Carlos Hurtado Parra continues as acting CEO. Ecopetrol will maintain its operations and strategic growth, including its international portfolio expansion.
