Ascendis Pharma reported positive five-year results from its Phase 2 PaTH Forward trial of TransCon PTH (palopegteriparatide) for adult hypoparathyroidism. The therapy maintained stable calcium levels, kidney and bone health, and quality of life, allowing most patients to stop conventional treatments. Key outcomes included 82% of patients meeting treatment goals, improved kidney function, and sustained symptom relief. The treatment was well tolerated with no new safety concerns, leading to a 3.6% stock rise to $223.37.
