American Oncology Network (AON) has partnered with CanCare, Inc., a nonprofit providing emotional support to cancer patients, to deliver comprehensive cancer care that includes both advanced medical treatment and peer emotional support. This partnership, announced during National Cancer Survivors Month, aims to enhance patient well-being by connecting patients and caregivers with trained volunteers who are cancer survivors or experienced caregivers. The service is free and available nationwide, supporting patients at all stages of their cancer journey. This collaboration builds on successful pilot programs and reflects AON's commitment to whole-person care, improving the overall patient experience by addressing physical, emotional, and social needs.
