Kanin Energy to build 7MW waste heat power plant at Phillips 66 Colorado site

Kanin Energy announced plans to develop a 7-megawatt waste heat to power facility at Phillips 66's Mewbourn natural gas processing plant in Colorado. The project will convert waste heat from gas turbines into reliable, low-emission power for onsite use, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and lowering power costs. Kanin Energy will own and operate the facility, allowing Phillips 66 to benefit without upfront investment. Construction is expected to start later this year, enhancing plant reliability and environmental sustainability.
